ABOUT ME
I stay in Korea, and I am a garment wash specialist, who created Lunar dye, Neo mineral, Comet wash, and so on.

FABRIC WASH
It's highly recommended to apply pre-fabric wash to get stable shrink level for garment wash/dye program
NORMAL/HEAVY WASH
The very basic washes giving soft touch & stable shrinkage
ENZYME / STONE / SODA WASH
The most common garment washes to get moderate vintage look
PIGMENT GARMENT DYE
The most common garment dye method, with wider shade variation and a bit lower color fastness property
TIE / POUR DYE & HAND PAINTING
The most creative part among garment dye techniques, which is very hot trend now
DIP DYE
Dip dye expresses very natural gradation effect over the whole garment
GARMENT BURN OUT
Originally garment burn out was developed in L.A, and I upgraded it to current garment burn out produced in Asia now. Also I adopted poly one side dyed fabric for the first time in the world for garment burn out for Gap women, Leo Choi in Sae-A was a big help for it
MINERAL & NEO MINERAL
Neo mineral is modified Mineral wash , specially for knit garment, Neo mineral uses different kind of chemical & medium compared to conventional Mineral wash
LUNAR DYE ( rain drop )
The picture above is the inspiration from Target designer, and the first trial sample has got a lot of lunar crater look on the surface of garment, so I named it Lunar dye, Leo Choi also participated in this development
Decal dye
The decal dye wash developed by Korean technician (김재훈) and it's available in Indonesia Jinmyoung apparel, decal dye look similar to tie dye, but it has got much narrow shade variation and also has got it's own unique look.
SPRAY WASH
The spray wash on short sleeve tee had been very popular before, but not like denim wash factory, recently very few garment wash factory for knit top has got spray facility
NICKING & GRINDING
It's very extreme way to give vintage look to a garment
COMET WASH
COMET wash was also created and name by me from a wash factory under my control, later the other come up with similar one but much more touch & rough one under the same name COMET, so I will revive real COMET when I have factory under control again. The first order wash for TOMS
AQUA WASH
Aqua wash is designed to have tonal & subtle tone down look, this technique look simple, but need to be very careful with dye stuff & wet pick up rate. Gary Jung in Sae-A was a key person for this development
SUNDRY
Recently I am handling this technique, which I think is the most delicate wash at the moment, but at the same time is the only one which can make big & dramatic HI-LO effect, it's from the L.A. again . You can take access the SOP for this technique by clicking the image above
